YetepNGHTMRE. Subtronics. Boogie T. You already know this one is going to be good. It’s a dubbed-out, dancehall-inspired, reggaeton hit with downright dirty bass. “Nuclear Bass Face” sees the best of LA-based NGHTMRE’s hard production skills, Philly-dwelling Subtornics’ bolstering bass, and NOLA-native Boogie T’s reggae-riddim vibe. It’s out TODAY. Listen below.
According to NGHTMRE, whose real name is Tyler Marenyi, the collaboration between the three came about a year ago. Marenyi says he and Philly-based producer Subtronics originally planned to make a remix together, but the track morphed into an original single. The two then brought dub reggae master Boogie T to perform the vocals and play the guitar for the track.
