YetepChicago Native and House queen J. Worra just dropped some brand new music, a groovy new track entitled “some ppl fall.” This marks her first release of 2021, after her remix of Kyle Watson’s “My Level” back in November.
J. Worra said about the new single, “I wrote ‘some ppl fall’ under a very Chicago mindset. The off-beat claps, disco-esque organ stabs, and the thumping toms carry the groove back home. This feels like the most fun track I’ve ever made and I hope everyone who checks it out feels a bit of nostalgia.”
Check out “some ppl fall” below.
J. Worra’s unique sound and dynamic production has landed her releases on Mau5trap, Box of Cats, and In / Rotation, to name a few. She launched her own imprint, Arrow Records (Worra spell backwards) back in 2018, which has given way to original tracks like “Modern Medicine,” Hourglass,” “Bones,” and “Like XO.”
Don’t miss J. Worra at Shady Park on this Friday, May 14th. You can grab tickets here!
