YetepIn this house, we stan IMANU & Zeds Dead! After seeing IMANU remix multiple Zeds Dead tracks like “Gassed Up” and “i think you’re cool,’ it only seems fitting to finally have the tables turned. This week’s Remix Recall is on Zeds Dead’s unique take on IMANU’s single “Empress.” Check it out via Deadbeats below:
Drum and bass trendsetter IMANU released his debut album Unfold via Deadbeats last year, holding home to “Empress” and 13 other tracks. Making his return to Deadbeats this year with his Unfold Remixes LP, there is no better follow-up than a remix from the Deadbeats kings themselves. Serving as the first single off the forthcoming Remix LP, Zeds Dead’s remix of “Empress” creates an entirely new vibe while still keeping IMANU’s main theme intact. Zeds Dead slows the track down with the addition of some heavy bass for an unexpected yet mesmerizing melodic dubstep flip.
IMANU is taking over Darkstar in Tempe this May 20th! You do not want to miss his Darkstar debut! You can get more info and grab your tickets here.
