YetepIt hasn’t been a year since deadmau5 released his 2012 album, > album title goes here <, and he’s already working hard to crank out some new songs under his Mau5-y persona.
His first tune preview is a throwback to the sounds of the Random Album Title days with its trance-y speed and it’s self-inflective vibe. “Suite 03” is the name, and hopefully we’ll be hearing more of it soon.
“Monophobia” fast forwards us back to the newer, techier Mau5 that we know today with his signature chord that he always seems to strike. Like a radio station on the outskirts of town, static and hissing interrupt the song for yet another element.
How about a collaboration? Mau5 and Kill the Noise worked together for Killthemau5, a tune currently considered to be “bastardized” by deadmau5, as he sends it back to KTN. The innocent build drops into a chaotic dub segment, throwing noises left and right.
Hard at work, it looks like we can expect something to be arriving soon from the Mua5, as he continues to crank out preview upon preview.
