YetepSamy Beyou, better known as SampliFire, has been releasing heater after heater for years and this most recent EP is no exception. No matter whether it is riddim, trench, or dubstep, if SampliFire is on the track you know that it is going to go crazy. His Firestorm EP is one insane collection of collaborations and solo work that will get your feet moving and your head banging. When it comes to bringing the energy, SampliFire never disappoints. He was able to recruit some of the brightest in the game to finish out the amazing five-track EP. Not only was SampliFire able to collaborate with an outspoken riddim artist in Yakz, but he has also linked up with Automate, Chibs, and Nika D to bring one of the heaviest EPs to come out this year. With the success of the single, “Menticide,” released with Yakz earlier in the year, the rest of this EP follows in its footsteps as some of the most wonky and choppy music to come from the French DJ.
Not only is SampliFire releasing new music, he is preparing to embark on another nation-wide tour. Being able to listen to the crazy riddim songs through your preferred soundsystem by yourself is enjoyable, but it is nothing compared to the energy of a live set. Riddim artists, and SampliFire in particular, are great at interacting with the crowd and engaging throughout the set. Gauging the crowd, high performing DJs such as SampliFire are able to bring the energy in a room through the ceiling. Experiencing this energy live is a whole different experience and one that you are not going to forget soon. We have the pleasure of bringing SampliFire to Tempe this weekend, as well as bringing him to Albuquerque with Infekt next month. Be sure to check out tickets HERE for Phoenix and HERE for Albuquerque. Tune into the new Firestorm EP out today!
