YetepAlphabet soup ensues when Matt Toth and Julio Mejia, better known as GTA, takes JWLS’s track ‘Bashin’‘ and flips it into a 140bpm trap attack.
The tune combines a typically slower, breakdown genre with speeds much faster than a typical moombah or trap tune. Still, everybody dancing will be grinding slow, and pushing upon that special someone.
The original track give a little moombah flare. GTA makes sure to keep the vibe intact while still giving it the full Miami treatment.
Out now on ‘Diabluma Sound’, GTA’s 140 mix is packaged alongside another edit, with label owners Nadastrom providing their own spin on another track of JWLS’, ‘Lagrimas’ which was released on the Bashin’ EP back in July 2012.
GTA’s journey continues with a supporting role one Rihanna’s Euro tour, stopping in Berlin, Vienna, Oslo and Helsinki. Soon after, they join up with Kylie Minogue, Kaskade and Kill the Noise. The Miami boys aren’t slowing down anytime in the near future.
