Yetep“Strobe” is one of the most iconic electronic music releases. deadmau5 made a name for himself and the electronic music genre with this release. With over 50 million Spotify plays despite releasing in 2009, “Strobe” has led the way into the electronic scene to know and love today. Originally a 13-minute masterpiece, the three official remixes from deadmau5 which released earlier this month are from three unique artists.
The first remix comes from Victor Ruiz. This is a darker techno remix which sounds like it is straight out of a dark european warehouse. WIth a hard hitting bassline and fast tempo, this remix is one that will get the night pumping.
The next remix comes from OddKidOut. With his heavy use of synthesizers and upbeat sound, OddKidOut includes a futuristic bass drop that is unique and unexpected. Trained as a drummer, the quick beat is driven by some skillful drums.
Layton Giordani brings us the final remix of this release. From a young age, Layton was introduced to house music which has a lasting influence on his life. Once discovered by Adam Beyer, the rest has been history as he has released multiple projects with Bayer’s Drumcode records.
