REZZ Reflects on a Sold Out Weekend at Red Rocks

As spooky season comes to an end, and Halloween makes way for Thanksgiving, many artists and fans alike are taking a moment to reflect on just how incredible this October was for electronic dance music. With the iconic month boasting an array of both tricks and treats, featuring new releases, bone-chilling performances, and impressive Halloween-inspired costumes, the EDM community came together to celebrate the freaky frights and neon lights in style.

It’s no surprise that electronic producer REZZ had something special up her sleeve for the occasion, as she has earned wide recognition for her dark, mid-tempo sounds combined with horror and hypnosis themed visuals, creating a brand so unmistakable it feels as though it’s tied to Halloween itself.

She certainly delivered this fall, bringing her 7th rendition of REZZ ROCKS to the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado for two nights of bass, horror, and unforgettable experiences. With insanely talented openers like YDG, AC Slater, Ahee, and Eddie bringing their A-game to the event, the crowd was mesmerized from start to finish. She also surprised fans by bringing a more intimate version of her PORTAL show for the weekend, allowing her full artistic vision to shine.

On night 2, REZZ unveiled her highly-anticipated Nightmare on REZZ Street set, making it only the third of its kind. The set included exclusive tracks, edits, and visuals, and created the perfect vibe for spooky season. Throwing in snippets of tracks and visual edits from Nightmare on REZZ Street 1 and 2, while also mixing in all new content, REZZ truly concocted the perfect recipe to treat her fans in a way like never before. The set was mind-blowing, bone-chilling, and felt like a true audiovisual haunted house experience. She also notably made use of color in ways that her regular sets don’t typically showcase, featuring greens, purples, and blues that made the set that much more special. View the full set here!

After such an incredible weekend, REZZ took to social media to express her gratitude and reflect on her accomplishments, stating:

Well last night was my 11th red rocks show!! Each one has sold out which is INSANE! – this venue is so unbelievably special to me & to be engrained in its history is so meaningful to me. This past two nights I felt so gratified & eager to show my fans where I’m at as an artist – showcasing not only PORTAL night 1, but a Nightmare on Rezz street themed one on night two. Thank you all for allowing me to continue a long, consistent career – as an artist, longevity is something I value & not a single moment of your support doesn’t go un-appreciated. Thank you all so much and see you next year.

With her creativity, talent, and brand ever-evolving, it’s exciting to see what she has in store next. Spooky season may be over, but Space Mom is always cooking up something new in the shadows, rest assured.
