That was the driving thought for Orlando’s Rigo De La Madriz aka MontyCler, when he began producing music on a low-end PC in 2016. Nearly a decade later, “happy” is just the baseline. Through his releases and explosive live sets, he’s built a sound that channels pure joy, into sound waves of bass-heavy energy.
MontyCler’s rise feels like a community effort. His ridiculously groovy anthems, from the big hit “CERTIFIED” with EAZYBAKED or another popular track “Cheesus Crust,” have become instant hits in the sets of headliners like Zeds Dead, CloZee, and Caspa. On stage, he easily holds his own alongside big names like EPROM and LYNY, leveling up from local shows to large festival stages like Okeechobee.
What sets him apart isn’t just the technical skill from YouTube tutorials, but the palpable camaraderie he brings to the scene. MontyCler’s brand shows that in the world of dubstep and riddim, the most powerful connection often comes from a place of pure, shared love for the music.
