YetepGRiZ is back with a new single, “BBFL,” short for Bass, Beats, Funk, Love. Released April 17, the track captures the core elements of his sound in one amazing bass package.
The song features a smooth saxophone line, unmistakably GRiZ, layered over hip-hop leaning vocals. It’s a blend of feel-good funk and groove-heavy pressure, bridging the gap between musicality and festival-ready energy. The track first appeared during a sold-out headline show at Minneapolis’ The Armory, where it quickly became a standout moment.
“BBFL” arrives during a productive stretch for GRiZ. Since returning from his hiatus in 2025, he has reestablished himself as both a performer and a curator. His Seven Stars Festival drew over 22,000 fans, and he has continued to release new music, including the GEMiNI EP, Sidequest Vol. 1 Mixtape, and collaborations with Wooli, Tape B, and Gryffin.
Looking ahead, GRiZ has major plans. He will co-headline a two-day GRIZTRONICS event at The Gorge with Subtronics a week before EDC, and Seven Stars Festival will return in October. He also has headline slots lined up at Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and Okeechobee.
“BBFL” is a clean, focused track that reminds listeners what GRiZ does best.
