Harder, Better, Faster… Vinyl?!

If you still haven’t gotten enough Daft Punk in your life, you’re in luck.  The masked duo is set to release a double vinyl (for the first time ever) this month, along with a limited edition box set!

Daft Punk’s “Alive 2007” set, which took home two Grammy’s in 2009 was only available digitally and on CD up until now.  On December 23, 2014, it will be released as a double vinyl edition (triple gatefold)!

Still not satisfied?  The pair is also set to release a limited edition box set of “Alive 2007” at the same time.  The box will include the album on two solid, white vinyl’s (cue jaw drop)… AND a vinyl bonus (side A: the show’s encore “human after all / together / one more time (reprise) / music sounds better with you) / side B: ‘ALIVE 2007’ pyramid logo etched).

You will also find a 52-page book of pictures taken during the shows, a slipmat and a download card.  Whew!

A vinyl, silver edition of their first live album, “Alive 1997,” will accompany these other pieces, as well as a separate release for those who are not in need of the whole box.  It was recorded during their first 1997 European tour in Birmingham, only a few months after, “Homework”.
