YetepWhat I would give to be in the arena when the Jack Ü unexpectedly delivered an outstanding halftime show at the NBA playoffs…
Halftime began with endless possibilities and delivered surprise after surprise. Jack Ü, with help from special guests, made the performance unforgettable and a definite treat for those who were lucky enough to see it live. Here are the highlights:
5. Dinky the Dog. Vine-star Dinky, the most gangster canine you’ll ever encounter, rolled out onto the Clipper’s court and graced fans with his presence at the start of Jack Ü’s set. Entering in a white miniature convertible, his 15 seconds of fame was only the beginning of the wide-eyed audience.
4. Live Vocals. Skrillex jumped from behind the booth to in front of it when he shocked the audience by singing “Mind” along with a female counterpart… LIVE. It was perfect.
3. Brass. Diplo plays the trumpet. It’s not confirmed or denied that he was legitimately playing, but it definitely seems that way. Is there something that this DJ duo can’t do?
2. Left Shark. In the midst of the dancers and the DJs, left shark boogies his way on the court to join the after laying low since the Superbowl. Did NOT see that coming.
1. A+ Playlist. As if “Mind” and “Take Ü There” weren’t enough, the entire cast of performers broke out into one huge dance party when the Ultra-famous “Where Are Ü Now” blasted through the entire arena. Diplo acted as the perfect hype-man among his buddies left shark and Dinky the dog.
This performance must have been the energy the Clippers needed to dominate the Houston Rockets, and leave the crowd in chaos. Skrillex dropped it hard and Diplo dipped low, proving that Jack Ü is most certainly a power duo that brings the party.
