YetepThe best way to pump yourself up for an incredible event like New York’s Electric Zoo is by listening to the best live sets by the artists that are about to blow your face off in just a few months. SiriusXM‘s Electric Area on channel 52 has been playing live performances for Electric Zoo since its debut back in 2009, and they continue to sound better and better every year.
Taking place each Labor Day Weekend at Randall’s Island in New York City, Electric Zoo is known for it’s historically strong lineup, and this year’s display of talent is certainly living up to its reputation. Alesso, The Chemical Brothers, and Above & Beyond lead the pack as the named headliners, and are supported by a strong cast of artists ranging from the infectiously talented Oliver Heldens, hardstyle champions Coone and Headhunterz, New York’s own Pierce Fulton and the rising big-room young guns Riggi & Piros and Zaxx.
Good news for all you zoo-heads out there because this years Electric Zoo radio launches TODAY and will be aired every week leading up to the festival! Electric Area plays electronic dance music, house, electro, progressive, trance, dubstep, tech, and more along with the biggest DJs in the world. Listeners will hear Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Hardwell, Skrillex, Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix, Alesso, deadmau5, Borgore, Dada Life, Tritonal, A-Trak, and more. This years zoo radio kicks things off with a set from DESTRUCTO followed by other confirmed artists including Ansolo, Oliver Heldens, Adventure Club, The Martinez Brothers, Thomas Jack and Madeon, then wrapping up with festival headliner Above & Beyond. Time to let out your inner animal and get wild at the one and only Electric Zoo!
