RÜFÜS DU SOL Release Gorgeous New Track, “Innerbloom,” Announce Album Release Date

Live-electronic act RÜFÜS DU SOL has just dropped a monster of a track on us, their third release from their upcoming album, Innerbloom, which will be released to the world on January 22nd.

Clocking in at an epic 9 minutes and 38 seconds, this song is truly a journey, and likely a precursor of what we can expect from their sophomore album. Stream the track for yourself below, put on some headphones, and close your eyes. Innerbloom sounds like the polar opposite of Eric Prydz’s recent mega-track “Opus,” and I mean that as a high compliment. Hitting it’s first high point at the 3:40 mark, this song features some dream-like, etheric synths, whispering, panning vocal effects, and some gorgeous lyrics to accompany it all. This track is pure sonic bliss.

“For us personally, we were each drawn to electronic music because of the euphoric nature of of it. At its core, it brings people together to dance of course. I’m sure i’m not the first person to say this, but our favourite artists are our favourite because we’ve shared moments listening to them with friends or family that you can’t recreate. Moments that you remember forever. We really wanted to create those moments for other people with the songs from BLOOM. Innerbloom is probably the most personal song we’ve ever written in terms of where we are at as people. Hopefully, it can create for other people, some of the moments we’ve shared with each other and friends listening to our favourite songs……”
