Did the Wet Electric Sun Cook You Up? Recover Under the Trees of Shady Park with Destructo!

Ready for another after party? Well, not quite an after party, a recovery party rather! Wet Electric will be a blast followed up by Justin Jay at Shady Park (doors open at 9pm when Wet Electric ends), but if that wasn’t enough for all the crazy music fans of Arizona on the following day, May 1st at 11am, Shady Park will play host to the man and legend himself, Destructo.

So who is Destructo? Well if you don’t know, he’s probably one of the most influential figures in all of EDM/DJ/Warehouse party/rave history. But his legacy starts in 1990 after leaving his very first warehouse party with a tune firmly embedded in his head. He loved the music so much, he immediately went out to buy the record he had heard at the show. He wanted to DJ as well but didn’t have a turntable, so as soon as he could he bought a turntable as well. However, simply going to the parties wasn’t enough. DESTRUCTO’s passion was so intense that he needed to throw his own. At that point, “The Sermon” was officially born and several other warehouse parties such as “Magical Mickey’s Holy Water Adventure”, “Raveamerica”, and “Techno Boy”. The following 26 years that have followed since his beginning in the scene have lead to many more accomplishments such as being the founder and CEO of HARD Events, a concert brand that has put on popular music festivals since 2007, and which was acquired in 2012 by Live Nation Entertainment.

Destructo really is the man in the game. To be able to see him at Shady Park at this recovery party and be that close and intimate on the dance floor to a man who has played such an important role in all of EDM history in HUGE. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the show. So make sure to grab yourself a Wet Electric ticket so you can get your ticket to this recovery party because that’s the only way you’re getting in!
