Dusky Announce Forthcoming Album “Outer” with Rave/Electronica Mutation “Ingrid Is A Hybrid”

Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell are London based House/Techno production duo, Dusky. The Dusky project started in 2011 with the critically acclaimed “Stick By This” LP on Anjunadeep, named as an album of the year by Radio 1’s Pete Tong. Their success continues with many other scene-spanning underground singles and EPs (“Love Taking Over”, “Careless” EP, “Ordinary World” EP, etc.), firmly establishing themselves as leaders in the UK underground. Fast forward to this year, on the wake of a March North American tour concluding with their Dusky Presents Miami Music Week showcase, Dusky present the first taste of their highly anticipated forthcoming artist LP “Outer” in the electronica and rave mutation “Ingrid Is A Hybrid”. “We spent a lot of time discussing which single we should share first from our forthcoming album and all eventually agreed that ‘Ingrid Is A Hybrid’ was the right choice,” explained Nick and Alfie. “It references a lot of the wider influences and tastes we have explored with our album, but also feels like a natural progression for what Dusky represents to us. We hope you like it.”

“Ingrid Is A Hybrid” brings together trademark Dusky touches – clean, club-heavy production, inventive use of vocal samples and classy, melodic textures – into a unique hybrid that breaks new ground for the duo but sounds unmistakably Dusky.
