YetepArizona has had a burgeoning electronic dance music scene as of late and has seen some amazing artists emerge as well. Locals, Austin Feldman and Nick Horacek, have recently come together to form a DJ duo who go by “Over Eazy,” that I think is worth checking out.
Nick and Austin met in 2015 through a mutual friend and began working together on their first collab, an unreleased remix of ‘Echoes’ by Henrik B, Nikolas Gustaven, and Peter Johansson. They also have remixes for Illenium, Autoerotique, and Lost Kings planned for the future.
Their most recent release is a remake of Audien‘s remix of Coldplay’s “Adventure Of A Lifetime.” The track has a light heaven trap sound to it and is truly enjoyable and well put together. With a future sound appeal and faint “Damn Daniel” and “Suh Dude” references, the remix fits right in with the 2016 trends.
Feldman shares with me, “Over Eazy does not limit themselves to one specific BPM as we feel music is without genre, and we strive to prove that in every song we put out. Fusion of the different genre is a key aspect in our style of music.” Over Eazy as been playing gigs throughout the Phoenix Valley together honoring their crafts as DJs and producers, stay tuned for more of their music representing the Arizona music scene.
