This week’s Relentless Beat of the Week goes out to a track I have held close to my heart for the last several years. This track is a classic Drum and Bass hit that borrows many melodic elements, lending to the pristine vocals of Alpines. Just in time for our astounding Labor Day Weekend, behold Sub Focus‘ “Tidal Wave” ft Alpines:

Sub Focus – Tidal Waves ft. Alpines

Released in 2012 first as a single, then via Sub Focus’ album Torus, “Tidal Wave” perfectly compliments the diversity of the producer’s sophomore effort. The track peaked at number 12 on the UK singles chart, and number  4 on the UK dance chats. Overall, “Tidal Wave” is Sub Focus’ highest charting dance track, a testament to the staying power of the track.

With such energy behind this track, as well as others like “Endorphins” and “Turn Back Time”, his other UK singles charters, there is no doubt that the Sub Focus show at The Pressroom is the ideal way to kickstart an insane LDW2016.
