YetepComing off hot of the heels of Skrillex‘s most recent release with Rick Ross “Purple Lamborghini” for the new movie Suicide Squad, he’s now teamed up with Valentino Khan for “Slam Dunk,” and these two are definitely ready to play ball.
Most of you probably know Valentino Khan from his 2015 track “Deep Down Low,” which proved to be a major viral hit for Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint when it dropped last year. He recently told Huffington Post in an interview: “I learned how to DJ. It’s always been a progression for me that way. I’m all about building upon the previous things I have been doing.” And now he’s doing just that with Skrillex.
The up beat single finds the two artists trying to “Slam dunk that booty” with the help of Kstylis on the vocals. The record carries some serious energy via OWSLA Records with a swift 150BPM tempo and penetrating bass stabs. Get ready to hear this one out all summer.
