YetepInsomniac, created by Pasquelle Rotella, is an american tour promoter focusing on some of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world including Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Forest, and more. Insomniac was founded in 1993, and has grown to extreme lengths since then, and the newest addition to the company is an online talk show.
Insomniac’s Night Owl Radio show has been rapidly growing and now it’s added an online talk show titled “Wide Awake Stories” produced by the company’s editorial division. The talk show will feature intimate interviews with artists and individuals who have been a part of global festival growth, dance music culture, and it’s community.
Wide Awake Stories talk show will cover a range of topics exploring the culture of dance music and what makes it so special through exclusive interviews with artists and DJs, profiles on fascinating fans, behind-the-scenes content with the experience creators at Insomniac and more. Each monthly episode will introduce an original theme that is relevant to the electronic community today.
The first episode launched just a few days ago and was partly recorded at this years 20th anniversary celebration of Las Vegas’s Electric Daisy Carnival exploring the meaning of “PLUR.” Explained are the ways that Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect reflect on the dance music scene with special guest appearances from the accredited founder of “PLUR,” Frankie Bones, veteran DJ and producer, Tommie Sunshine, and members of Insomniac’s own sober-raving collective, the Consciousness Group. Stay tuned for more Episode’s of Wide Awake Stories!
