YetepRecently Deadmau5 has announced that his new album titled ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’ will be released on December 2nd via his label Maustrap. And in his most recent Radio show on BBC radio 1, Pete Tong Brought Joel Zimmerman (AKA Deadmau5) went on to discuss what to expect in this, his eighth full length studio album.
In describing what went into making and the sound for the new album Deadmau5 credits his purchasing of a Prophet 10 (synthesiser), to be behind some of the inspiration saying, “there’s an 80s sci-fi fantasy vibe to some of the melodies.”. Pete also made one of the new tracks off of the album the Essential tune of the week. The song titled “4ware” in Pete’s own words, “takes him back to Faxing Berlin Deadmau5, Right up my ally”. The beautifully composed progressive journey that is “4ware” is an instant classic and will capture the ear of Deadmau5 and music fans alike.
