4 Things EDM Fans Are Thankful For This Thanksgiving

The holiday season has us feeling that attitude of gratitude, and we’re not only thankful for family, friends, the roofs over our heads and the good food on our plates… but we’re also thanking our lucky stars for our EDM fam, and all that comes with it this time of year.

1) Holiday Discounts

In the spirit of the holidays and with black friday right around the corner, all sorts of discounts are offered on artist merch, rave apparel, and sometimes even tickets to events. What better gift to give/get than a sick tee shirt or hoodie featuring your favorite artists album cover?

2) Headphones

While we get to visit with family members on Thanksgiving, we all know that sometimes your relatives just ask too many questions along the lines of “how’s school going?” “got a boyfriend/girlfriend?”…etc. Well, since earbuds are so small these days I think we can all agree that plugging in some tunes by your favorite DJ might be more appealing then these questions that haunt us at Thanksgiving each year.

3) Knowing that NYE shows are right around the corner

Time sure does fly during the holidays. I mean, it was just halloween right? And now thanksgiving already, and we might as well just hibernate after the big turkey meal until christmas and new years, because we all know what’s coming, and can all agree that New Years Eve events are the best way to wrap up the year.

4) Thanksgiving Feast

While you may have thought I would only be mentioning things edm related, it would be heinous if I had left out the best part of the holiday itself, the FOOD. While the electronic music scene brings forth many things to be thankful, everyone and their mom’s are of course looking forward to the feast.
