YetepDrum n’ bass icons, Dirtyphonics, just dropped their brand new EP on Borgore’s imprint, Buygore, and it is simply fire. Overtime, their sound has evolved over the years, culminating with an unparalleled flavor of breakbeat and bass music.
The EP includes three tracks, ‘Night Ride,’ ‘Lost in Your Love,’ and a collaboration with Virtual Riot, ‘Beat Dem Up.’ Virtual Riot is known for his quick and chaotic style, but has done some experimenting with newer sounds as well. For example, some of his recent tracks like ‘Flutter’ and ‘In My Head’ have more of a future bass sound.
Virtual Riot and Dirtyphonics making a track together is genius. The two come together for a combination of sounds both new and old, creating a track we expect to hear plenty of this summer. It’s buildup is upbeat yet calm, led into a drop with elements of all sorts and amazing sound design.
Virtual Riot will be joining Datsik on his Ninja Nation Tour next week, so grab some tickets to hear him play the new collab!
