YetepWith Phoenix Lights approaching faster and faster, we still can’t get over the insane lineup brought to us this year. With some of the biggest and most OG names in the game, we are blessed with welcoming some of those who made EDM what it is today. Along with a few of the fathers of EDM, we are also joined with a handful of artists who have proved themselves very worthy to the music scene in the footsteps of the legends.
Popping up in the industry, Viceroy landed a spot at the top of Hype Machine after his very first release, and ever since has spread his house sounds across the globe. His single with K.Flay ‘Back At The Start’ is a carefree tropical tune that gives you no choice but to bob your head along to the beat. He’s also released a series of ‘Summertime All The Time’ mixes that truly live up to its name, making it feel like the perfect time of the year regardless of when you’re listening.
His most recent EP was released just a couple of weeks ago, called ‘Just Marinate’ and features Wiki and Anjulie for some signature funky house vibes. Nothing could be more perfect for spring break!
Along with Viceroy, Hucci is making a grand appearance at PHX Lights, and this young UK-based producer is not one to miss. With loads of singles, his hip-hop influenced bass beats always seem to surprise me. His Soundcloud is stacked with originals, remixes, and even a few hour-long features for BBC and Diplo & Friends. Song after song I can never seem to get bored of his sexy trap style. If his live sets are as good as his Soundcloud selection, there’s no doubt he’ll put on one hell of a show this April. Here are two of my favorites:
Phoenix Lights is almost just a month away! Ticket prices are going up fast, but you can still get a deal! Grab your tickets here:
