Relentless Beat of the Week: $uicide Boy$ x Getter – ‘Memoirs of a Gorilla’

In recent times, Getter and $uicide Boy$ crafted an EP, Radical $uicide. Together, the two worked in sync on numerous tracks including “Champion of Death” and “Magazine.” My favorite and our Relentless Beat of the Week, “Memoirs of a Gorilla,” was used to close the project out. However, their first track on the EP, “Stop Calling Us Horrorcore” also bumps, and the title is quite humorous.

Without a doubt, the EP is a switch from Getter’s usual producing style, but that’s why he’s been deemed a tastemaker in the modern music scene. His talent goes further than dubstep, and he’s proved it well beyond this recent collaboration. On top of Getter’s musical aspects, $uicide Boy$ came in to contribute their buried vocals. All things aside, every song makes you feel as if you thuggin’. The lyrics express serious situations under semi-silly conditions, and the EP is perfect to put on when it’s time to turn up.
