YetepDirty Audio has made a name for himself with the hard trap elements he’s included in some of the dopest tracks he’s released. Not only are his originals like “Gorilla Glue” or “Clipped” pinnacles of the rapidly expanding trap genre, but they hold their own in the mighty world of heavy bass as well.
Two weeks after “Firewalker,” a self-promoted track was released, Dirty Audio released his remix of GRiZ’s “Wicked,” featuring Eric Krasno, crafted special for All Good Records.
Dirty Audio’s remix of GRiZ’s melodic banger of a track mixes electro-synths and rough, technological baselines weaving in and out of the original track’s Jazz influences. The cheeky vocals delivered by Eric Krasno compliment Dirty Audio’s style of musical innovation through a sense of controlled chaos. Even with the complexity of the remix, he still manages to retain the integrity of the original track.
2017 has been a monumental year for the trap maven having remixed a track for DJ Snake and Yellow Claw which ended up on Interscope records. He went on tour earlier this year, stopping in Australia and New Zealand and recently debuted his set in Asia at WOMB Tokyo. Keep an ear out for more news from the Dirty Audio camp as the man himself prepares for an exciting future.
