Popeska is just some 19-year-old dude who grew up in some suburbs that were really boring. As any suburban kid can relate to, all you pretty much do is eat Chikfila and go to people´s houses to ride golf carts and trade Pokémon cards. So to fix this, he played a lot of music.
He started off playing piano at the age of really young (he can´t remember) it was probably like 6 or something. He played a lot of classical music and then moved on to jazz. In middle school he played the flute because he thought it was easily the most badass instrument in all of band. During that whole time, he was that guy who was like “yoooo electronic music isn´t even musicccc” and his friend John was like “yoooo yeah it is why don´t you try it you dummy and see if it´s music.” So he did, and he realized it was pretty hard and that he was a dummy about it. But like anything that Popeska feels like a dummy at, he worked his butt off until he was no longer a dummy at it, and then he finally could start making the music he heard in his head.
