Don’t You Worry Child. There’ll Still Be One More Tour.

Swedish House Mafia is on the final stretch of their time together. Just after announcing their final tour, aptly named “One Last Tour”, fans quickly swiped up tickets, selling out SHM shows across the world for the last time.

So why, after one of the most storied careers in the genre, the first EDM headliner to sell out Madison Square Garden, did the group decide to go their separate ways? Steve Angello told the Huffington Post in a recent interview, that SHM became too big to control. “I think the pressure…It just wasn’t having fun anymore. It was this humongous monster,” Angello told HP.  “We felt like tired.”

After 4 years of sold out shows and four top 10 UK hits, the trio has a right to be wiped out. This, however, is not the end for the individual EDM artists, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. They have their own plans for post-Swedish-House life. Steve Angello is working on his own solo album, Axwell is prepping his own solo tour, and Sebastian Ingrosso is planning to produce albums beyond his own.

Going off on their own is nothing new to these guys as they’ve come out with many individual tunes during their time together. Originally announcing their break up in this past June, the group decided to do their one last massive tour, for the first time in Russia, India and South Africa. And SHM will surely go out in style.

“We came, we raved, we loved.” Their new album, “Until Now”, will drop on October 22.
