Global Dance Festival Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

This year marks the 10th year anniversary for Colorado’s biggest dance music festival. Dance music has certainly become more popular in the past decade and this year the festival takes place in four cities across the United States all in the same week. The festival will hit Detroit, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Denver the third week of July.

After a wildly successful nine years, Global Dance Production wanted to come back with an anniversary event that will place Global Dance amongst the ranks of the world’s premiere dance festivals. “It’s been an exciting decade long journey through the ups and downs of dance music culture,” CEO Ha Hau said. “The last few years we’ve seen dance music explode and I’m grateful to see GDF grow to this unprecedented level.”

Despite taking place in four cities over the course of five days, each city will offer a similar mix of artists. Detroit and Minneapolis will have Above & Beyond, Knife Party, Wolfgang Gartner, and Mord Fustang. Kansas City adds Steve Angello. And the flagship Denver event adds Hardwell, Morgan Page, Nadia Ali, EC Twins, Excision, Zeds Dead, and Dillon Francis among many, many others.
