YetepFelix Cartal has taken Zedd’s “Clarity” to a whole different bass-banging level. In his preview on Soundcloud he says “I wanted to make a heavier, end-of-the-set version so here’s what I came up with!” And that’s exactly what he did.
The preview’s got some great electro beats and a phenomenal synth to replace the original Zedd melody synth in order to match the feel Felix was going for. It meshes together so well that it really does feel like it creates that huge high point at the end of a great set. The new sound complements the vocals really well, and everything is definitely a bit “louder” as it sounds like big-room club music when it culminated into a huge wind-up drop.
The dirty synthesized bass-line after the drop is the engine that drives this track home, and will probably have club-goers not wanting to go home at all.
