Norin & Rad

2012 has undoubtedly been a successful year for Norin & Rad. Debuting at the biggest festivals around the world such as EDC in Las Vegas, Electric Zoo in New York and Tomorrowland in Belgium, Bruce Karlsson and Nick Sember show no signs of slowing down. These two southern California boys have really launched themselves into the spotlight over their short time of being together, releasing tracks like “Bloom”, “Pistol Whip” and many more, Norin & Rad are pushing the envelope on an entirely different sound scape.

When Bruce and Nick met in 2007 they found a mutual interest in EDM and how it was made. After talking and learning each others backgrounds it seemed obvious a collaboration was in order. Shortly after, Norin & Rad was created. Bruce started learning music production programs shortly after graduating high school. He quickly caught on; creating his own techniques along the way that have helped identify Norin & Rad’s sound. Nick’s musical interest began when he learned how to play guitar among other instruments from his father. He bought his first set of vinyl turntables in high school where he started mixing hip hop, but easily progressed to dance music when he met Bruce.

Norin & Rad have remixed some of the top names in trance such as Above & Beyond, Andy Moor, Armin Van Buuren and more. Taking every project to new heights, Norin & Rad are setting the curve for the music industry. They’ve just started working on their debut artist album and one thing’s for sure: fans are in for a surprise. Touching every realm of EDM they can, and even outside genres, the album will be sure to create a stepping stone to a new sound completely.

Only just hitting the festival circuit this year, they’ve already packed clubs like Exchange LA, the world famous Ruby Skye in San Francisco, as well as many more. They rock the crowd with a unique set consisting of mash ups and edits created by themselves and some done live! Together they take the crowd through a new experience of sounds, manipulating the mood at the drop of a hat.

Bruce and Nick continue to grow and take their fans through different levels of their art. In the fast paced world of electronic dance music, Norin & Rad are at the forefront of it all.
