Yet another installment of Release Pool Party at Talking Stick Resort will be making waves this Saturday with the wildly fashionable DJ duo Posso; and in addition to that, we get a very special open to close performance from one of the most melodic electronic duos working today over at the Monarch Theatre. Strut Your Stuff With Posso at Release Pool Party (6/6   11:00am)

This Saturday, L.A. based DJs and fashion designers, Posso, brings with them to the Release Pool Party in Scottsdale both their remarkable musical talents and their wildly sexy fashion sense. These two ladies have been friends as far back as they can remember and look to each other to build up a creative tank of all things music, fashion, and beyond. Keeping up with and setting the standard for what is trendy, these two ladies are going to be something you will not want to take your eyes off of. Marylouise Pels and Vanessa Giovacchini are famous for playing a number of prestigious festivals around the world including Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, and Summer Sonic in Japan, as well as spinning for various fashion-related companies including Reebok, MAC Cosmetics, and more. In addition, they have their own weekly fashion feature on Style.com where they talk about all things hot in the fashion scene from leather to lace to cosmetics to swimwear. Recently, these ladies have been hard at work on a festival remix of their original track, “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life”, which can be heard in the video below. Be sure to catch these stylish ladies poolside at Talking Stick, and try your best to outshine their style with your expensive bikinis and top of the line board shorts… but be warned, it’s gonna be tough.

Open to Close with Gabriel and Dresden at Monarch (6/6   9:00pm)

This one is a very special treat for you all. Gabriel and Dresden, two time winners of the “Best American DJ” award from IDMA (International Dance Music Awards), will be making their way to the Monarch Theatre to play their Classics Only. Consisting of Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden, these two San Francisco based producers have created their own blend of trance, techno, house, and pop that syncs perfectly with the soundtrack of our nights out. These guys are billboard chart toppers, classically trained musicians, highly sought after mixers, and have been employed by TV stations and video game developers to create original content to improve their experiences. Despite the sudden surge of EDM in pop culture, these two guys stick to their roots, creating what they are known for, not what is “in”. According to Dresden, “We don’t pay much attention to trends. We choose sounds and words that we feel will mean something to a lot of people and at the same time, make them put their hands in the air.” This Saturday, starting at 9 pm,  come put your hands in the air as these two inspiring and talented DJs will be playing only their own hits and remixes with an epic 6 hour long set.
