Kayzo Goes Back to His Roots on ‘Fake Fake Fake’

It’s no secret that Kayzo grew up listening to and being influenced by post-hardcore music, his newest album Overload is packed with hard rock elements like heavy guitar riffs, screams, and over-the-top drum kits. He remixed Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” which has quickly grown to be Kayzo’s most popular song. The California based dubstep DJ and producer is returning to his humble beginnings once again on his new track “Fake Fake Fake feat. Xo sad.” Think of this song not as a dubstep song, but as a classic emo screamo song that just happens to have a heavy, ground-shaking bass drop in it. This track goes hard, combining the best of both genres into one beautiful work of art. The loud and heartfelt screams from Xo sad gives listeners a one-way ticket into their feels, while Kayzo’s heavy build-up and drop pulls listeners back into reality right before they have a chance to tear up. Overall, this song is perfect for bassheads who’s roots are in emo bands like A Skylit Drive and We Came As Romans.

Kayzo is a man who needs no introduction. He’s blown up in the industry in the past couple of years. He’s been touring constantly in 2018 for the release of his Overload album. He’s played at almost every major massive festival in the world including Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas. He’s also recently launched a new project with three of his best friends Ookay, Dotcom, and YultronThe Binches.

On the other hand, Xo sad has been working his way up in the industry himself, with a handful of originals songs and several covers and remixes of popular artists like Post Malone and Linkin Park.

Kayzo is going to turn Boo! Into a mosh pit on October 20th along with 1788-L, Boogie T, and many more. Grab tickets here.
