Settle down trance family, I’m just as pumped as you are. Armin van Buuren, one of best DJs who has ever touched a pair of headphones [as voted by you a few times], announced his fifth album release slated for May 3 of this year and it’ll be Intense. Not to mention, the artwork for the cover just released as well, along with a pre-order date on April 5.
Coming almost three years after his industry throttling album, Mirage, which released back in September of 2010, Intense will surely be on the top of everyone’s wish lists considering the time and effort Armin puts into all his albums.
”It’s been an intense 2 years in the making,” Armin said on A State of Trance. “Being a perfectionist, some of these tracks have taken me months to finish. I’ve tried to incorporate as many real instruments as possible, including a live orchestra and the rock band of my brother Eller, Bagga Bownz. It’s been an honour to work with such talented artists, singers and songwriters.”
This album is suggested to cross over between trance, progressive, classic and rock, all into one CD case (or zip file, depending on your format of choice).
Considering his recent releases with Arty and W&W on his A State of Trance 2013 compilation, chances are that this album will feature some of his most amazing work, along with the help of some of our Trance Family friends.
Stay tuned for more information.
