YetepLegendary DJ and producer Sasha released his third installment of his highly anticipated mix compilation Involver 3–titled Involv3r–on Monday on the infamous label Ministry of Sound.
Sasha has been around for quite some time now. He credits his success to the massive underground following of dance fans who see and share his creative vision. Sasha, a pioneer in the scene has been producing since the late 80’s when analog was still the only way to produce a track, unlike today’s digital revolution.
Many got to know Sasha when he teamed up with another dance legend, John Digweed to form Sasha & Digweed. Both decided to focus on their own careers shortly after but Sasha is still going strong, playing in front of packed crowds around the globe. Sasha continues push the envelope of dance production and still leaves fans in aw 33 years later.
All the tracks on the compilation were remixed by Sasha himself. Remixes from acts such The XX, Ultraista, ThermalBear and Foals, as well as Sasha’s own production. Involv3r includes a beat-less mix which is I think is pretty neat along with the individual tracks (un-mixed). The highlight of the album is of course the continuous mix that is nothing less then amazing. Sasha has done it again, a masterpiece for the ears that can be listened to over and over again!
Involv3r is available on Beatport and iTunes.
