EDC Las Vegas To Span Two Weekends in 2014

As the sun peaked through on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Monday morning, EDC-ers headed out, stuck in traffic, thinking about their amazing weekend, and the year long wait until next years EDC.

After this year’s sold out event, The Examiner have reported that the massive North American festival will expand to two weekends next year, following the pattern that Ultra Music Festival and Coachella put in place.

Plans have finalized between Insomniac and Las Vegas Motor Speedway to hold two weekends of three day festivals. As of now, Electric Daisy Carnival is still the largest festival in North America, bringing in 120,000 attendees a night.

With EDC Week holding the first annual Dance Music Awards and Insomniac’s new partnership with LiveNation, 2014 will be the biggest year yet for the giant electric flower.
