Chris Lake, TJR, Nom de Strip & GTA Embark on Rising Fall Tour

Chris Lake is bringing the top talent from his Rising Music label on the road for an 4 week North American Rising Tour this fall. Starting September 6 the tour will feature crack DJ squad Chris Lake, Nom De Strip, TJR AND GTA. The tour will also feature some lucky emerging talent compliments of the Rising DJ Contest on Talenthouse.

The Rising crew has become a tight-knit bunch of musical vagrants, combining some of the freshest voices and biggest personalities to emerge in dance music in the last few years. Couple that with some serious musical output that also includes the likes of Tommy Trash, Deadmau5, John Dahlbäck, Hot Mouth, Lazy Rich and Will Sparks and you are talking about one of house music’s most coveted collectives, ran by one of its most likable fellows, the inimitable Chris Lake.

The Rising DJ contest will give talent from across the U.S. and Canada the chance to compete for an opening slot at all 8 of the Rising Fall Tour dates. 1 lucky winner from the chosen 8 will also win the chance to travel to Las Vegas, open for Chris Lake at the Wynn and spend an afternoon recording in Wynn Las Vegas’ brand new studio. It’s a motley crew that Chris Lake has assembled at Rising, and its a testament to his A+R that he has unified the unlikely bed-fellows that encompass the Connecticut golfer and chart topper TJR, the Miami tropicool salsa bounce of GTA and the Highland-house of Nom De Strip. A comedic looking troupe that, despite topping charts and working with the likes of Pitbull and Kylie Minogue, remains united by, and undiminished in, their desire to move dancefloors with a smile and a wink, and a serious sense of fun.
