Repeat Button: Mat Zo’s “Lucid Dream”

Ladies and gentleman, we’re so close to the November release of Mat Zo‘s much anticipated album Damage Control. We’ve been waiting on this since his releases of ‘Fractal Universe’ and ‘Superman’ seemingly forever. His forthcoming single shows just how far he’s come, and how amazing his sound has become.

‘Lucid Dream’ doesn’t do enough justice to the emotions of the song. The joyful chords, like something from his ‘Easy’ collab with Porter Robinson, elates your spirit to a point of not being able to hold back a smile. I don’t care that you’re sitting by yourself. You’re smiling.

Anjuna‘s rising young star has grown up quite a bit since his 17-year-old entrance into the Anjunbeats label. ‘Lucid Dream’ promotes a sample of the Mat Zo album that’ll be more than satisfying (satisfrying?) for long time fans of his.

At 23, there’s still much of the EDM world to conquer. He’ll continue to carry the torch for Anjuna and Astralwerks heavyweights under label heads Above & Beyond. I’m sure they’ll be like proud fathers on November 5.
