Guy Gerber Brings Wisdom Of The Glove Residency To Miami

After a summer in Ibiza spent turning heads, and descending rabbit holes, Guy Gerber’s tantalizing and titillating Wisdom Of The Glove party is bringing its mystical surrealism to North America, touching down at Miami’s Story for an exclusive quarterly residency in 2014.

Inverting the bland commercial-orientated direction of EDM, Gerber brought his style to Pacha during his summer long residency. Disruptive, dark and definitely divisive, Gerber’s Wisdom Of the Glove residency became a summer long talking point that even the New York Times picked up on.

Gerber starts the next chapter of his subversive tale at Story in Miami, promising to blend bewilderment and beats, and kicking off proceedings Saturday, March 22.

Since the Ibiza season finished Gerber has turned in one of the best-received Essential Mixes of 2013, been confirmed for Coachella, squirreled himself away in-studio working on the near mystical ’11-11’ project, and found time to launch his new project, Rumors. Like any good rumor, facts are scarce on his new label, all that has been confirmed thus far is that the first release will see Gerber collaborate with his comrade-in-arms, Dixon.
