TomorrowWorld is coming up, and pretty much every DJ is going to be there. There are so many big names on the lineup this year they had to break the headlining acts into 2 phases. I was going to write a short list of the top 5 you need to see and why… But there are too many. So if they are going to have multiple phases, I will, too. Check it out and don’t miss these acts at TomorrowWorld in a few weeks. Let’s dance!
Phase 1
David Guetta
Avicii
Tiësto
Kaskade
Skrillex
Phase 2
Ferry Corsten
W&W
Tommy Trash
Laidback Luke
Dillon Francis
But why should you drop everything to see these guys spin?
David Guetta: Where has he been? This guy, when he first came out, was making some of the most progressive and electrifying dance music around. I remember the first time I saw him live. It was in an old church in the middle of nowhere. I bet there weren’t 150 people in the room. Now he is playing sold out shows and is one of the biggest names in dance music. His latest single is pretty much a cover… But you still need to see him. If just for old times sake.
Avicii: I mean… You can’t turn on the radio and NOT hear Avicii. He is on every EDM station, every pop station and I even heard him on an Easy Listening SiriusXM station last week. His latest studio album is incredible, and you can’t ignore his popularity. His single “Wake Me Up” has been streamed over 277 million times on Spotify alone.
Tiësto: This dude is so good. Everyone knows the words to “Red Lights” and A Town Called Paradise is the best album I have heard this year. The DJ Mag Top 100 is coming up, and I would be fine if he is at the top. As a matter of fact, I will be shocked if he isn’t at the top! We could just run them red lights. See what I did there?
Kaskade: You don’t hear a lot about this guy, but he is one of the best DJs out there. If you want to see him, just head to Las Vegas. He is always showing up doing shows at Marquee Las Vegas. Oh, and speaking of the DJ Mag Top 100, don’t look for his name on the ballot… He has never been a big fan of the list.
Skrillex: He released an EP in April featuring the hit single “Recess” and continues his path to the top. With rock and roll roots, Skrillex has made the transition to dance music look easy. His live performance is full of energy, too, and might be the loudest set you will see all week at TomorrowWorld.
Phase 2
Ferry Corsten: I am a big fan of his, and am obsessed with his podcast. He hasn’t released a lot of new music this year, but has been touring sharing his music with the world. I am hooked on his hit single “Loops & Tings.” Listen. Dance. Repeat.
W&W: I am obsessed with their podcast, too. They just produce some club bangers and some of the best big room house on the planet. They are loud, and mean business. Hardwell won’t be at TomorrowWorld, but W&W and Hardwell just collaborated on a single called “The Dance Floor Is Yours.” Check it out.
Tommy Trash: We are big fans of Tommy here at Relentless Beats. He’s coming to town soon, too. If you haven’t seen Tommy live yet, this guy likes to have fun and puts so much energy into his set. Plus, to hear Reload live would be worth the price of admission.
Laidback Luke: Where has this guy been hiding? Apparently with Gina Turner in a studio somewhere. They just released a new single called “Bae” that I can’t stop listening to. Laidback also puts on a great show, and will make sure to leave you begging for me.
Dillon Francis: This is my dark horse. Sure, I could have picked guys like Showtek, NERVO or Borgore, but Dillon is hot right now. Plus, I can’t wait to hear him play “When Were Young” live. Dillon is young, but is turning everything he touches into gold. Don’t miss the chance to see him on his biggest stage yet.
I could go on. I mean, there are so many big names there this year. If you are going to TomorrowWorld, make sure you don’t miss these headlining acts. You won’t be sorry and you can thank me later. Have fun, be safe and I will see you in Atlanta!!!
