YetepFew DJs have blazed such a singular path to stardom as Hot Since 82. He’s graced the cover of Mixmag, performed live with a string quartet, served up several Beatport No.1s and last month kidnapped fans for his amazing “TAKEN” project which sold out in 30 minutes!
This fall he is firmly focused on the next phase in the evolution of his label, Knee Deep In Sound, with the debut mix album and a full North and Latin America tour. After hurtling through a summer that would make any young aspiring DJ weak at the knees, Daley Padley has put together a compilation that includes four new and exclusive Hot Since 82 jams, debuts a number of new acts that includes several new gems he signed exclusively for the comp.
Coinciding with the release, Hot Since 82 is giving something special to his loyal fans. It’s called “KNEE DEEP AT HOME,” a live broadcast from his house exclusively accessible by fans who pre-order the album from his website. “I’m going to throw a house party at my own home, we can’t invite everyone to my actual house so instead we’re going to broadcast the whole thing into your living room so you can have your own party with us at the same time!”
Daley started Knee Deep In Sound back in March and has clearly revelled in the role. The inaugural release “Don’t Touch The Alarm,” accompanied by a remix from Booka Shade, instantly achieved Essential New Tune status. A release from Okain & Cuartero followed, showing Daley’s keen ear for new talent.
In addition, Daley sets off on three week tour of North and Latin America. Dates include:
October 30 – Spybar in Chicago
October 31 – Escape All Hallow’s Eve in LA
November 1 – Output in New York
November 5 – U-Street Music Hall in Washington D.C.
November 6 – Q Nightclub in Seattle
November 7 – Celebrities in Vancouver
November 8 – Exchange in LA
November 9 – SLS in Las Vegas
November 10 – Union Hall in Edmonton
