RB Exclusive Premiere: Have Fun, Party, and Get “Dizzy” with THANKS

Who is THANKS? One way to describe them is funky-house.  Anders and Anders (yes, their names are the same) started THANKS in 2014.  Why the name THANKS? This clever name was chosen because they want to always say thanks to their fans, people who influence their music, and those who assist them in their music career. Their latest release, “Dizzy” shows promising potential for this Danish duo.  With their funky-disco style sound, it’s hard to not get up and dance along with this video!  It just looks too fun!

Anders B. and Anders SG. have extensive music history that starts as far back as 2007.  They used to be musicians and producers in this band called Alphabeat.  They are most commonly known for their top hits like “Fascination” and “10.000 Nights of Thunder.”  They also toured with pop-stars Katy Perry and Lady Gaga! With that being said, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are known for their funky, crazy style.  You would expect that THANKS has that same type of style.

THANKS released their first video called “Comeback Girl” in July 2014.  With almost two years passing by, THANKS finally released their next music video, “Dizzy”.  This video was shot by DDP AKA Decentralized Dance Party.  They are a group that runs around the city with boomboxes and promotes fun and partying.  They believe that fun will help promote world peace.  Not only are they assisting in world peace, but THANKS definitely need to say thanks to DDP for such a fun video.  It compliments the song “Dizzy” nicely.

“Dizzy” is one of the most unique songs.  Is it because they had five different singers or seven different writers? Or that the song is a musical mashup of bits and pieces of Anders and Anders favorite parts. Or that nothing was rerecorded? Or that this is an incredibly bouncy and uplifting song? The answer is all of it.  “Dizzy” was recorded over two days in four different studios. People would work together in sessions no longer than two hours.  In those two hours, they needed to use their mad skills to make one incredible song.  With that, “Dizzy” was born.

It’s hard not to instantly fall in love with THANKS.  Their sound and music video show fun, happiness, and love. Their free-spirit sound instantly puts a smile on your face.  Users of Soundcloud say that “Dizzy” is a “Summer Hit!” and “This is the most amazing song I’ve heard this year.  Perfection exists.” Check out this summer hit and follow this talented funky-house, Danish duo as they blossom once again in the music world.
