Borgore Prepares for Safe In Sound with a Gruesome New Minimix

Borgore has become an edm icon over the years with his anti-genre “gorestep,” ladies man reputation, and insane live shows. Although Borgore titles himself as the ‘man who destroyed dubstep,’ the depth of his music background is able to back that up, as he was formally trained in jazz at Tel Aviv’s Thelma Yellin music academy in Israel.

Daddy will be making a stop on the Safe in Sound tour in Arizona coming up at the end of this month, and has just released his ‘Safe in Sound Minimix” to give us a little taste of what we’re in for.

Safe in Sound is taking on it’s third year bringing the best of bass music all around the country. This years tour is hosted by Redbull and plans to deliver 150,000 watts of PK sound just incase you wanted some bass in your face.

The mix starts off sounding a bit soft for Borgore featuring some future bass by Airia, followed by JayKode and Party Thieves‘ bass track, Origin. Afterwards is a little hip-hop from rapper Malcolm Anthony, then Borgore himself features his own track “100’s,” and the rest is full of lots of wubs and dub and of course a little more Borgore.

I like that even though its a minimix, this mix isn’t bass and dubstep from start to finish. Dubstep, or should I say ‘gorestep’ may be Borgore’s specialty when it comes to production but he sure knows how to put together a thirty minute mix. Catch Borgore on October 28th at the Pressroom, where he played 3 years ago, alongside Terravida and Laxx for Safe in Sounds’ 2016 Arizona show.
