Thanksgiving Beats: Red Monkey at Monarch

Come check out RedMonkey at Monarch Theater Thanksgiving night from 9pm to 3am as Tortured Soul (Live) takes the stage to throw down some groovy, soulful house beats. The international touring act is on a quest to show the world that the future of house music should not be confined to the turntables. Combining drums, keys, bass, and vocals, the multitalented band puts on a unique performance of house music that you won’t want to miss at this special event.

The supporting artists for this show represent some of the best local talent Arizona has to offer. DJ duo Senbad and Pete “SuperMix Salaz have been setting the dancefloor on fire at their local house events for years. Pete Salaz conjured up the idea for RedMonkey in 1996 so that Arizona could have a lasting house music event that is continually binding people of different backgrounds together through house music. Twenty years later, his idea is alive and well and ready to influence the house community yet again this Thursday.

Addition support comes from DK and DrDrea, another well known house duo talent. The husband and wife team are rumored to be planning an exclusive hybrid set for the show. It seems that they will be following the lead of Tortured Soul by expanding their performance from the confines of the DJ booth and the results are expected to be spectacular.
