YetepUK producers Chris Lorenzo and Chris Lake have proven over and over again to be a powerful pair. They released “Wicked Games” early in 2015 and “Piano Hand” later that year and have over a million combined views. They’re not just great together, though, they each have their own flourishing careers as well. Chris Lorenzo released his album Destroy The Image last year and put out a new single, “Sleep Talk” with Sonny Fedora this month. Chris Lake has been releasing bangin’ singles and remixes on a consistent basis, including his most recent remix of Good Times Ahead‘s “True Romance” that’s out this week!
One of my personal favorites from the duo and this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week is a fun bass-house tune, “The Calling”.
It’s an infusion of house beats with a darker and more seductive sound. “The Calling” steers into a deeper direction, with heavy bass and pulsating tones. It’s a unique blend of sounds that’s captivating to the listener. It was released just over a year ago on Ultra Records and has acquired over one million views in that time.
Catch Chris Lorenzo at Crush Arizona at Rawhide on February 18th! Get tickets here.
