YetepPhoenix Lights is coming up in April and will be here before you know it. With 26 artists announced already and 26 to be announced, it’s looking to be one of the biggest and most diverse events Arizona has seen yet. Keys N Krates are one of the acts joining us, and today they’ve released some new music for you to listen to in the meantime.
Keys N Krates maintain an open door policy when it comes to varying styles and have become one of Toronto’s biggest exports over the years famous for their hard hitting sound and full live performances with keyboards, drums and decks. The trio makes most of their music on their own, and have collaborated with a few artists here and there, but have most recently teamed up with up and coming producer, KRANE.
KRANE, who originally went by KRNE, has been around for about two years and has recently began gaining more attention along with the added letter to his name. KRANE creates a clean and unique future bass sound and after numerous originals and remixes, has began working with bigger names like QUIX, Ekali and now Keys N Krates.
The collab titled “Right Here” seems as if it should have happened long ago as styles from both KNK and KRANE go together like peanut butter and jelly, and can both be heard distinctly throughout the track. Elements of poppy future bass are juxtaposed with energetic and hard edged beats making for a track that will be heard throughout the upcoming festival season, and hopefully during keys N Krates set at Phoenix Lights Festival 2017.
