YetepWiwek has been killing the game lately with exemplary originals and collaborations alike. Working with artists like Skrillex and Yellow Claw has led to his association with some great record labels that have really put Wiwek on the map. His signature style of bass music labeled as “Jungle Terror” has captivated fans looking for heavy tribal drums and vocal samples incorporated into electronic music. The tribal rhythms of Wiwek tracks are so smooth and make them all easy to dance to. His latest two tracks, “Faka G” and “Double Dribble Ft Keno”, encompass the jungle terror aesthetic to a tee. Put your twerking boots on and take a listen to both below:
The drums in both “Faka G” and “Double Dribble” are ridiculously intense and sharp on the attack. The kicks chosen by Wiwek fill out the bass completely and create a lot of forward momentum for the track. Adding to this are the other key ingredients to any jungle terror banger: a hype vocal line sped up to an insane tempo and a very pitchy screech noise over the ape drums. As a result, Wiwek has come up with a couple brilliant tracks that are sure to make there way into a variety of club sets. Don’t forget to check out Wiwek’s upcoming AZ performance on Feb. 10th for that jungle terror madness and booty shaking fun at Shady Park. Grab your tickets here!
