YetepSwedish producer Alesso blew us away with the release of his single “Falling” on February 3, and he just blew us away again with the release of the video.
Not all musicians pair videos with their tracks – Alesso did, and thank goodness. The progressive house mastermind crafted an amazing video to tell us about this story of two robots learning how to love.
“I took this track to a deeper more sensual place for me,” Alesso said. “I wanted to get that across in this video paired with incredible dancing and a sort of 80’s feel. We auditioned dancers for days, and I’m super happy with how this came out.”
The video was directed by Henrik Hanson, and features Alesso building and programing a male robot to dance and fall in love with a drop-dead gorgeous female robot who we meet early on. It’s romantic, it’s compelling, and the choreography is crazy impressive. See for yourself:
Alesso – Falling
This is definitely a step in a new direction for Alesso. The song takes a vocal house/pop vibe, but Alesso seems to be excited about the change – and so are fans. If you want to see him in person (which I think we all do), don’t miss him at Phoenix Lights on April 9! If you still need tickets, grab them HERE.
