YetepCash Cash is an electro pop trio from New Jersey consisting of brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, and Samuel Frisch. They signed with Universal in 2008, later that year releasing their debut self-titled EP and have been steadily building their fan base since then. In July of 2013 “Take Me Home,” featuring Bebe Rexha hit big and became their first charting song and remains their most successful song to date with over 100 million plays. In 2016 they released their LP, Blood, Sweat & 3 Years. It featured contributions from artists such as Busta Rhymes, Fitz & the Tantrums, Nelly and Christina Perri.
Most recently Cash Cash released the track “Matches” with Rozes who you may know from The Chainsmokers’ massive hit “Roses”. Released just last month it has over 5 million plays already. “Our favorite thing about ‘Matches'” Cash Cash said, “is that the lyrics have this hurting sadness to them but the music is the complete opposite being uplifting and bright. We think that made for a really unique collaboration that leaves the listener with the sense that even when you’re broken and burned, you can still feel positive energy again if you let it back into your life.”
Cash Cash’s music always has a euphoric type of pull that leaves us wanting more. Come make a splash with Cash Cash poolside at Talking Stick Resort on April 22nd! Get tickets here.
