YetepAs many of you may already know Josh Young of Flosstradamus left the duo in December 2016. He’s since begun his solo career with the new moniker YehMe2. During his time performing as Flosstradamus with partner Curt Cameruci the two created an empire. Producing songs with GTA, Troyboi, Waka Flacka, Yellowclaw and many more, Young and Cameruci made a huge and long-lasting name for themselves within the industry. Some of these bangers like “Soundclash” and “Prison Riot,” are both played in just about every trap set you’ve ever heard.
While Flosstradamas has been split for nearly a year, YehMe2 is up and coming. Young had his solo debut as YehMe2 at HARD Summer earlier this month and absolutely crushed his premier performance. You can listen to the full set here. To re-break into the scene with his new stage name, YehMe2 has been releasing mixtapes, aptly titled “Steal This Mix Tape.” He currently has two STMT out on Soundcloud and it’s truly trap heaven.
YM2 is gaining recognition quickly and has already had some of his songs picked up for festival sets. You may recognize “Gimme Gimme” and his remix of XXXtentacion’s song “Looking for a Star.” YehMe2 is touring this fall; find out if he’s coming to a city near you and grab tickets here.
